Of course we also had to get time at the beach. ![]() We headed to Marie Eiffel Market for a quick breakfast and headed back to the house for a pool day! If there’s one thing to note: you definitely need a car to get around Shelter Island. The next day we woke up and drove into town to grab coffees and breakfast. Of course many aperol spritzes and margaritas were had! Our first night we brought supplies to make personal pizzas. We stayed at the cutest AirBNB called Cottage Green - an adorable Hamptons style house that sleeps 10, has a pool and poolhouse, along with any other summer amendment you can think of! The kitchen was kitted out - perfect because we planned to spend our time at the house cooking, swimming, tanning, and just having fun all around! The city is hot and less busy, so who doesn’t want a little weekend getaway? I recently went with a group of friends to Shelter Island in the Hamptons and it’s now an absolute favorite of mine. It’s summer in NYC and while it’s a fun time in the city, it’s also a time that New Yorkers are exiting in droves. ![]()
